Yes. We do alarm system takeovers all the time. In many cases, we can keep your existing sensors, wiring, and even the panel. We reprogram it, connect it to our monitoring centre, and you're switched over. Usually in a single visit. $0 assessment cost. Works for both home and business systems.
What happens when my alarm goes off?
The signal goes instantly to our ULC-certified monitoring centre over a cellular connection. A trained operator verifies the alarm and contacts you at your primary number. If you confirm it's a false alarm and give your verbal password, we cancel the response. If you don't answer or confirm an emergency, we dispatch police, fire, or EMS immediately. The whole process takes seconds.
Do your systems work during a power outage?
Yes. Every alarm panel we install has a built-in battery backup that powers the system for hours during an outage. The cellular communicator runs on that same backup, so your connection to our monitoring centre stays active. If the power stays out long enough for the backup to run low, the system sends us a low-battery alert. You're never unprotected because the hydro went out.
